How to hire the right designer
First up - finding the right designer for you, your family and your project requires research. Like all sound investments, a deep dive into understanding the market is well worth it.
Finding your dream architect or interior designer is like finding light at the end of the proverbial tunnel, a bright shining exuberant light that will stay with you and within your home for perpetuity. A light that is worth digging for.
The problem however is that most of us JUST WANT TO GET GOING when it comes to starting a project. It’s a combination of excitement and a misconception (more on that in the full story) that getting started ASAP saves money. It doesn’t.
Hire the wrong designer and you might just end up in a dark tunnel.

Our home, Chelsea
Chelsea is our nest. It is where our co-director Nick was born and raised, on Burnsall Street from 1978. It is where our children were born and it is where our work-home is, on Sydney Street.
There are countless stories, some good some gritty, that lie within the streets, behind the doors and in the garden squares of SW3.
We love it with a passion and want to share some of top tips, insider info, a bit of gossip and general adoration for the finest corner of London.
